popular-npm

This is a npm module that scrapes https://www.npmjs.com/ for the top 100 popular packages and gets their daily, weekly, and monthly download counts.

Install

$ npm i popular-npm --save=

Using

Theres only one function that returns a promise:

const popularNpm = require('popular-npm');
popularNpm.getPackages()
  .then(results => console.log(results));
