Unofficial Zattoo Streaming API

Installation

npm install zattoo-unofficial-api

Configuration

Create a Zattoo instance with the following configuration parameters:

const Zattoo = require("zattoo-unofficial-api");

const zattoo = new Zattoo({
  "user": "your@mail.com",
  "password": "xyz",
  "lang": "de" // optional
});

Usage

Use callback or promise for all API functions.

Session Information

Get session info, callback used:

zattoo.getSessionInfo((err, session) => {
  if (err) {
    console.error(err);
  } else {
    console.log(session);
  }
});

Channel list

Get channel list, async await used:

try {
  const channels = await zattoo.getChannelList();
  console.log(channels);
} catch (err) {
  console.error(err);
}

Guide Information

Get guide information by passing start and stop timestamp in Unix Seconds, async await used:

  const guide = await zattoo.getGuideInfo(now - HALF_DAY, now + HALF_DAY);
  recallItem = guide.channels["sf-1"][0];

Stream URLs

Get stream URLs for srf1 (Swiss TV), then and catch and watch alias used:

zattoo.getStreamUrls("srf1").then((urls) => {
  console.log(urls[0]);
}).catch((err) => {
  console.error(err);
});

Get stream URLs for a recall item, pass object with cid and recall item id:

  const urls = await zattoo.getStreamUrls({
    "cid": "sf-1",
    "id": recallItem.id,

  });
  console.log(urls[0]);
